— What's frightening about it? —

Us humans are causing it . We can die from Global Warming, the earth is getting hotter, and we can also become extinct.

In fact sea levels are also rising at their fastest rate in two-thousand years! Global warming can lead to massive lack of food and water. It can also have a life threatening impact on wildlife

— Warning About The Warming —

Global Warming has been a problem for 218 years! In order to try to prevent that we need to do something about it.

First of all, WE NEED TO STOP DEFORESTATION. Instead do the opposite, which is reforestation. What is reforestation, you might ask, It's basically the process of replanting an area with trees. We need to do more of that because trees play an important role in life. They take in carbon dioxide and produce the oxygen we breathe. According to www.natureworkseverywhere.org, "Forests provide numerous benefits, including cleaning our air by filtering out dust and pollution and absorbing carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. Trees provide natural filtration and storage systems." This proves that trees do have an important role.

One reason we have global warming, is because of the use of fossil fuels. We need to reduce the use of fossil fuels, and increase the use of renewable energy.By renewable energy i mean solar power,  wind power, solar energy, and much more. According to www.ucsusa.org, "Renewable energy provides substantial benefits for our climate, our health, and our economy. It dramatically reduces global warming emissions, improves public health, and provides jobs and other economic benefits." This in fact does prove that renewable energy can be and will be better than fossil fuels.

The last, but not the least way to stop global warming is by actually eating the food you buy, and make less of it meat. Believe it or not, if you're wasting less food, you're likely cutting down on energy consumption. as stated in www.nrdc.org, "Approximately 10 percent of U.S. energy use goes into growing, processing, packaging, and shipping food-about 40 percent of which just winds up in the landfill."  and " since livestock products are among the most resource-intensive to produce, eating meat-free meals can make a big difference, too.". This confirms that the less food you waste, the decrease of energy consumption reduces as well.

Critics may argue that that human activity is not responsible for global warming, however this in fact is a false claim because scientist agree that today's warming is primarily caused  by humans putting too much carbon in the atmosphere. Especially when we choose to burn coal, oil, and gas, and deforestate. As stated in www.carbonbrief.org, "Humans emissions and activities have caused around 100% of the warming observed since 1950, according to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's (IPCC) fifth assessment report." This is enough evidence to prove that human activity indeed is responsible for global warming.

In conclusion, we need to take action, before it's too late!
