Did you know that products we use today are being tested on poor innocent animals? Yes it's true and very hard to hear these days. In other words the products we are using today that are tested on animals are M.A.C, Clean and Clear, and even Dove. It is certain that you didn't even know that these products were tested on animals. However did you know that those products that are being tested were on animals such as mice, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, cats and even dogs. About an estimate of 26 million of these animals are used every year in the United States for scientific and commercial testing.

         This issue is impacting humans right now because the products we use today for either house cleaning, beauty, or skin care products. But the real theory that's impacting people today is that these animals are being subjected to force feeding, forced inhalation, food and water deprivation. Yes these poor innocent animals are being put in cages and having needle after needle, being sprayed with so many chemicals that could kill these animals.

          It's clear that this situation is not just going to impacts us today it's also going to impact us in the future. Why I might say that you ask, is because animals lovers are soon gonna find out that the products that are used today are being tested on also home animals. I had found in my research that even the pet food called "Iams" was force fed to animals such as cats and dogs. Clearly it will start having you to look at your animals differently it would start to get you thinking "wow the food i am giving my pets were force fed and put in danger to look alike animals just like mine."

         Here are a few solutions we could do to stop this tragedy to keep on happening. We can let decision makers know that you're against testing on animals and that you support a ban on cosmetics testing on animals. Others must agree that if their also against animal testing they should stop buying the products that are tested on them. The last but not least reason what should be done about this is, that they should shut down the 5 companies that are in the U.S. and set these poor animals free to an animal shelter so that they can receive a home.

       There's also people who agree with my argument for example. Michael O. Leavitt stated that "9 out of 10 experimental drugs fail in clinical studies because we cannot accurately predict how they will behave in people based on laboratory and animal studies." Basically he is saying that it's not 100% that animals and humans have the same body reactions.

       As you can see that animal testing is bad not just for us but also for these them. And if this situation continues these animals will sadly start to extinct because of the amount of how many times those companies around the U.S. are testing these animals for products we use today. In addition I think in my opinion is that we should stop this animal testing and shut down the companies and create a new way to see if products are dangerous for humans.
